Carolina grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay and has resided in Arizona since 2006. She fell in love with Watercolor during her Senior year at Metropolitan Arts Institute, where she now teaches Spanish. Carolina received her BFA in Painting from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the Arizona Watercolor Association and collaborates regularly with creatives in Downtown Phoenix and Tempe.
Carolina has taught Art to a variety of populations and was awarded Teacher of the Year at Valencia Middle School in 2017. In the Spring of 2024, she was selected as an Educational Artist in Residence grant recipient by the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. Her work has been featured in many galleries and exhibits, including Xico, Phoenix Center for the Arts, Herberger Galleries, Helios Education Foundation and the Skyline Lofts Art Gallery.
